About This Trail
A gentle 6-mile loop along John D. Rockefeller Jr.’s historic carriage roads circling Eagle Lake, Acadia’s largest freshwater lake. The crushed-stone surface winds through mixed forest with mountain views reflected in the lake, ideal for walking, biking, and horseback riding.
