About This Trail

A waterfall-rich ascent from Franconia Notch passing Stairs Falls, Swiftwater Falls, and the spectacular Cloudland Falls on the way to Little Haystack Mountain. This 3-mile trail with multiple stream crossings serves as one leg of the famous Franconia Ridge Loop, gaining over 3,000 feet.

Getting There

From Lincoln, take I-93 north through Franconia Notch. Exit at the Trailhead Parking sign after The Basin (northbound) or 2.2 miles past Exit 34B (southbound). The Falling Waters Trail begins at the parking area.
