Rolling through 1,993 acres of forest along the Occoquan Reservoir in Fairfax Station, these trails connect to the 19.7-mile Bull Run Occoquan Trail. White, orange, and blue-blazed routes near the water offer panoramic reservoir views, with kayak and paddleboard rentals available at the marina.

Getting There

From Fairfax, take VA-123 south (Ox Road) and turn left onto Hampton Road. Drive 3 miles to the Fountainhead Regional Park entrance on the left, which provides access to the Bull Run-Occoquan Trail system.
