About This Trail
Starting from the Catawba River Visitor Center, this loop rolls through hilly terrain beneath a mature canopy of hardwoods, pine, and hemlock, passing a fishing pier along the way. Keep an eye out for deer, foxes, and flying squirrels in the woods bordering Lake James.
