About This Trail

A short trail network in a Hudson Valley park between the Walkway Over the Hudson and the Mid-Hudson Bridge, with filtered views of the river and Poughkeepsie. The wooded paths wind through a former estate with stone walls and mature forest. A peaceful local walk easily combined with the Walkway.

Getting There

From Highland, take Route 9W south 0.8 miles from the west side of the Mid-Hudson Bridge, then turn left on Macks Lane. The Franny Reese State Park entrance is 0.3 miles on the left at 70 Macks Lane.
