About This Trail
A 4.8-mile moderate trail through wooded interior sections of Grand Island to Trout Bay, a quiet sandy beach on the island’s eastern shore with picnic facilities and vault toilets. The route passes through mixed hardwood forest with gentle terrain before descending to the bay. Accessible by ferry from Munising during the May-October season.
