About This Trail

Looping 2.4 miles through Mammoth Cave National Park, this trail follows the Green River with steep switchbacks climbing to blufftop overlooks. Cave entrances, wildflowers, and geological formations line the route, with some of the park’s best views of the river’s winding corridor.

Getting There

From Park City, take I-65 to the Park City exit and follow brown signs west to Mammoth Cave National Park. The Green River Bluffs Trail begins at the Mammoth Cave Picnic Area and follows the river to scenic overlooks.
