About This Trail
Winding through Harpers Ferry National Historical Park at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers, this 4.1-mile loop passes Civil War sites, John Brown’s Fort, and the nation’s earliest integrated schools. Riverside overlooks and steep stone steps connect Lower Town’s preserved 19th-century buildings.
