About This Trail
A longer route across Hartshorne Woods Park covering multiple ridges with views of the Navesink River and Sandy Hook Bay. The trail passes Battery Lewis WWII fortifications and climbs through dense forest on the Highlands of the Navesink. One of the most challenging coastal-area hikes in New Jersey.
