About This Trail
Just 80 yards of paved, wheelchair-accessible pathway leads to the iconic Hawks Nest Overlook, a CCC-built sandstone platform from the mid-1930s. Panoramic views of the New River, Hawks Nest Dam, and surrounding mountains make this one of West Virginia’s most photographed vistas.
