About This Trail

A mostly flat trail leads to Boulder Field, a National Natural Landmark where rocks up to 26 feet long cover a 400-by-1,800-foot expanse created by glacial freeze-thaw cycles 20,000 years ago. The surrounding Pocono forest trail can be muddy after rain with 534 feet of total elevation change. One of the most unusual geologic features in the eastern United States.
