About This Trail
A 6.8-mile section of the 47-mile Iron Ore Heritage Trail, a National Recreation Trail tracing the Marquette Iron Range’s mining history with interpretive signage, artwork, and connections to museums. The easy paved multi-use corridor passes mining shafts, forges, and historical structures between Negaunee and Ishpeming. Accessible for all abilities year-round.
