About This Trail

Circling one of the New River’s larger islands at Sandstone Falls, this easy loop connects to a 1,500-foot-long accessible boardwalk spanning the river. Mini-cascades, mossy boulders, and fishing access points surround the trail within New River Gorge National Park near Hinton.
