About This Trail
This 1.2-mile spur trail at James Farm Ecological Preserve leads to elevated observation platforms overlooking the salt marshes and Indian River Bay, where horseshoe crabs, ospreys, and Eastern box turtles inhabit the 150-acre preserve. The short accessible path connects to the main preserve loop, providing quick access to panoramic marsh views and birding opportunities.
