About This Trail

A quarter-mile accessible walkway extends 624 feet out over the Kinzua Gorge on the remaining towers of a historic railroad viaduct once the world’s tallest at 301 feet. A partial glass floor at the terminus reveals the gorge 225 feet below. Originally built in 1882 and partially destroyed by a 2003 tornado, the bridge was reimagined as this dramatic pedestrian skywalk in 2011.
