The rugged route connects multiple backcountry campsites and river crossings. Expect challenging footing and limited trail markings in exposed sections.

Getting There

From Ontonagon, take MI-64 south to South Boundary Road and head west into Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. The Lake Superior Trail is accessible from the Presque Isle River area on the west side.
