About This Trail
At 17 miles, this is the longest trail in Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, traversing remote Lake Superior shoreline across cobble beaches, rocky headlands, and dense old-growth forest. The rugged route connects multiple backcountry campsites and river crossings. Expect challenging footing and limited trail markings in exposed sections.
