About This Trail

A challenging 3.6-mile out-and-back gaining 1,459 feet to Laraway Lookout, where a 100-yard cliff offers unobstructed views of the Mansfield and Sterling ranges and Lake Champlain. The wooded summit lies four-tenths of a mile beyond, deep in Vermont’s remote northern Green Mountains.

Getting There

From Jeffersonville, take VT-108 north, cross the Lamoille River, and turn right on VT-109. Follow Codding Hollow Road to the parking area at the Long Trail crossing for Laraway Mountain.
