About This Trail

Segment of the planned 100-plus-mile paved loop encircling Louisville Metro, running atop the Ohio River levee past parks and civic landmarks. Flat terrain and wide pavement accommodate walkers, cyclists, and skaters. Connects to the 19-mile Parklands of Floyds Fork section through four riverside parks.

Getting There

From downtown Louisville, take River Road west to the Riverview Park trailhead, or access the loop at the Big Four Bridge at 1000 River Road. Multiple parking areas are available along the Ohio River segment.
