About This Trail
Beginning at Hells Hollow parking lot, this easy 0.5-mile trail follows Hell Run to a waterfall and historic lime kiln remnants whose nighttime glow gave the hollow its name. The path is mostly smooth and level, though the area near the falls can be slippery. Located in the 2,500-acre McConnells Mill State Park, a National Natural Landmark shaped by glacial runoff.
