About This Trail
A 7-mile route through French Creek State Park’s extensive forest block, the largest unbroken woodland in southeastern Pennsylvania at 7,700+ acres. Rocky stretches and stream crossings add moderate difficulty to a route that passes through diverse hardwood stands and hemlock ravines. Named in connection with the nearby Daniel Boone Homestead, reflecting the region’s frontier history.
