About This Trail

A rewarding climb to the 4,006-foot summit of Mount Abraham, one of only three peaks in Vermont with rare alpine tundra vegetation. The open summit delivers one of the Long Trail’s finest panoramas, with views stretching to the Adirondacks, White Mountains, and Killington Peak 40 miles south.

Getting There

From Lincoln, take Quaker Street north from the village center. After 0.6 miles, turn right onto Forest Road 350 and follow the gravel road 2.1 miles to the Battell Trail trailhead parking for Mount Abraham.
