About This Trail
A classic Presidential Range ascent to New England’s second-highest peak at 5,774 feet, with long alpine exposure above treeline. The Valley Way rises 4,500 feet over 4.5 miles through dense forest before emerging into a dramatic landscape of rock and sky, with the AMC Madison Spring Hut nearby.
