About This Trail
The shortest route to a Presidential summit, beginning above 3,000 feet and ascending exposed ledges and scrambles to Mount Jefferson’s 5,712-foot peak. The demanding Class 3 terrain and full alpine exposure make this a thrilling but serious climb, with views rivaling those from nearby Mount Washington.
