About This Trail
A strenuous 7.6-mile AT-linked hike gaining 2,850 feet to the 4,180-foot summit of Maine’s third-highest peak. An observation tower at the top provides broad panoramas of the Mahoosuc Range and Grafton Notch, while the trail passes through dense spruce-fir forest within Grafton Notch State Park’s 3,200-acre preserve.
