About This Trail

This 2.4-mile loop in Grafton Notch State Park climbs steeply through boulder caves and rock scrambles to a dramatic cliff-edge ledge with 180-degree views of Old Speck Mountain and the notch below. A steel ladder near the summit adds adventure to this rewarding orange-blazed route off the Appalachian Trail.

Getting There

From Newry, take ME-26 north approximately 12 miles to the Appalachian Trail crossing at Grafton Notch. Park on the east side of the road. Cross Route 26 and follow the AT to the Table Rock Trail junction.
