About This Trail
A strenuous 2-mile climb via switchbacks over the top of the Paw Paw Tunnel to elevated views of the Potomac River bends that the tunnel was built to bypass. The half-mile ascent rewards hikers with panoramic views of the Potomac River valley and surrounding Allegany County mountains.
