About This Trail
Strenuous 4.4-mile round trip climbing 1,200 feet to Rainbow Falls, a 120-foot cascade plunging over a massive granite cliff in Jones Gap State Park. Beginning along the Middle Saluda River, the trail crosses a footbridge before ascending technical rock-and-wood stairs through dense Greenville County forest. Registration required at trailhead.
