About This Trail
A 4.1-mile out-and-back climb along a historic 1870s carriage road to the 1,287-foot summit of Snake Mountain in Addison, an island of upland forest rising above the Champlain Valley. The top delivers 180-degree views across farmland, Lake Champlain, and deep into the Adirondack Range.
