About This Trail

Crushed-gravel rail-trail on a historic corridor near Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi, site of the 1870 Buckner’s Trestle train wreck. Shaded by mature trees, the path connects the university area to Stone Park and downtown, with multiple parking access points.

Getting There

From Oxford, MS, take University Avenue south toward the Ole Miss campus. The South Campus Rail Trail runs along the former railroad corridor on the south side of the university campus.
