About This Trail

Circling through the hilly, Appalachian-like terrain of Holly Springs National Forest, this loop leads to a spring-fed pond that is the source of the Wolf River. Purplish Meridian sand lines the path, and a staircase ascends to a ridge overlook above the tranquil waters of Bakers Pond.

Getting There

From Holly Springs, MS, take MS-7 south toward Marshall County. Turn east on local roads toward the Bakers Pond area. The trailhead is accessible via county roads east of MS-7 in the Holly Springs National Forest.
