About This Trail

A scenic river corridor hike beginning at a historic grist mill and following the Susquehanna River past defunct railroad tracks and the Deer Creek Trestle Bridge. The 4-mile Susquehanna Ridge Trail gains 229 feet with frequent river views through lush, shaded forest.

Getting There

From Havre de Grace, take Route 155 north, then turn right on Lapidum Road. Take a left on Stafford Road to Susquehanna State Park. The River Trail begins from the Deer Creek picnic area.
