About This Trail
This loop climbs 675 feet to the summit of Mount Misery in Valley Forge National Historical Park, where a bell at the top marks your achievement. The steep 6/10-mile ascent gains 330 feet through forests and meadows with views of the Revolutionary War encampment landscape. Connects to Valley Creek Trail and Knox Covered Bridge for an extended loop past a historic 100-year-old dam.
