About This Trail

A gentle Hudson riverside loop near Garrison with forest paths and viewpoints over the river to West Point and the Highlands. The trail passes through the historic Glenclyffe estate grounds with stone walls and scenic clearings. A peaceful alternative to the more strenuous Highland hikes nearby.

Getting There

From Garrison, take Route 9D south along the Hudson River. The Arden Point and Glenclyffe trailhead is located off Route 9D near the Garrison train station. Park at the Metro-North lot and follow signs to the trail.
