About This Trail
A wheelchair-accessible crushed-stone path leads 0.7 miles to Barbour Rock, a commanding overlook of the 1,450-foot-deep Pine Creek Gorge. The wide trail starts along Colton Road with gentle grades, though some sections reach 6% incline. One of the easiest ways to experience a classic Pennsylvania Grand Canyon panorama, with viewing benches at the rim.
