About This Trail
This flat, crushed-limestone rail-trail section follows Pine Creek through the floor of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, offering easy long-distance hiking or biking. The former railroad grade maintains a gentle 1-2% grade along the river with mountain views rising 1,000+ feet on either side. Part of the 62-mile Pine Creek Rail Trail connecting Wellsboro Junction to Jersey Shore.
