About This Trail
A short 0.4-mile walk in Acadia National Park leads to one of Maine’s most iconic and photographed lighthouses, built in 1858 atop dramatic sea cliffs. Two paths offer different vantage points: one descends a cliff-side stairway to a shoreline overlook, while another provides sweeping ocean panoramas.
