About This Trail
This 1.3-mile figure-eight loop in Acadia National Park winds through coastal spruce forest to a quiet cove where mudflats and tidepools are revealed at low tide. The inner loop follows a gravel surface accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. Birders may spot common loons, great blue herons, ospreys, and bald eagles along the shore.
