About This Trail
A steep ladder-assisted ascent to Beech Cliff’s dramatic overlook above Echo Lake, with exposure and iron rungs adding excitement to this short Acadia climb. The clifftop ledges deliver a bird’s-eye perspective straight down to the lake, rivaling the more famous iron-rung trails on the eastern side.
