Bottoms Loop Trail
A loop near the floodplain of Smith Creek
The trail leads down a hill, past some tennis courts, then reaches the beginning of the loop.
The following description is based on hiking clockwise.
The path winds through an area with small streams and a few low ridges, arriving shortly thereafter at the floodplain. The trail leads on through a field before turning to follow a tributary back to the beginning of the loop.
Length: 2.4 miles
Difficulty: 3

Day Hike
There isn't a huge payoff on this trail, but I just love it. The woods are beautiful and there is easy access to the creek along the way. I would highly recommend it for beginners as it is flat and short. I would also recommend it for beginner trail runners for the same reason.
