About This Trail
A 6.1-mile loop through rolling woodland and wildlife habitat in Montmorency County, part of the broader High Country Pathway system in Michigan’s elk country. The trail traverses mixed hardwood forest and open meadows where elk, deer, and wild turkey are frequently spotted. Moderate terrain with gentle grades and seasonal wildflower displays.
