About This Trail

An 8-mile paved waterfront path along Burlington’s Lake Champlain shoreline, linking parks, beaches, and neighborhoods from Oakledge Park to the Winooski River. The mostly flat route offers stunning lake views and connects to the Island Line Trail’s causeway, with bike rentals available near Waterfront Park.

Getting There

From downtown Burlington, head west on Main Street toward the waterfront. The Burlington Greenway begins at Oakledge Park at the southern end, accessible via Flynn Avenue off Shelburne Road (Route 7).
