About This Trail
A unique 3-mile causeway extending into Lake Champlain on the historic 1899 Rutland Railroad railbed, with expansive open-water views and unobstructed skies on both sides. The crushed-stone path connects to the Island Line Trail and seasonal bike ferry for an unforgettable walk over the lake.
