About This Trail

A short section of the Long Trail climbs about 400 feet to a west-facing granite ledge perfectly positioned for spectacular sunset viewing. The spur leads to flat bedrock ideal for picnics, with views stretching across the Green Mountain valleys.

Getting There

From Warren, VT, take Lincoln Gap Road west toward Lincoln. The Sunset Ledge trailhead is on the Long Trail, accessible from the parking area at the top of Lincoln Gap on Lincoln Gap Road.
