About This Trail

A 3.5-mile trail through the Buzzard Swamp Wildlife Viewing Area in the Allegheny National Forest, where managed wetlands, ponds, and grasslands attract abundant waterfowl, herons, and songbirds. The gentle, rolling terrain passes observation platforms and wildlife blinds. One of the best birding destinations in northwestern Pennsylvania, with peak activity during spring and fall migration.
