About This Trail
This 1.9-mile scenic route connects the restored WWII fire control towers at Cape Henlopen, where hikers can climb the 75-foot concrete observation tower for 360-degree panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Delaware Bay, and Lewes Harbor. The easy path crosses open dune habitat and maritime scrub between the historic military installations.
