About This Trail
This 2.1-mile spur extends from the main Gordons Pond Trail to marsh and bay-edge viewpoints overlooking the 900-acre saltwater lagoon and the Delaware Bay beyond. The flat paved path provides additional vantage points for spotting shorebirds, egrets, and raptors that frequent the pond’s northern wetland margins in Cape Henlopen State Park.
