Falls Trail Raccoon Creek

This trail descends to Frankfort Mineral Springs Falls in Raccoon Creek State Park, where you can walk behind the waterfall while orange iron-deposit streaks paint the rock wall beside the spring. The grotto is reached in about five minutes from the trailhead. The 7,500-acre park’s diverse terrain includes hemlock ravines and one of western Pennsylvania’s richest wildflower reserves.
