About This Trail
This 2.2-mile loop at the Fresh Pond tract of Delaware Seashore State Park winds through young forest and open meadows just north of Bethany Beach, with northern sections offering views of Beach Cove on Indian River Bay. The eastern leg features crushed stone while the western portion has a sandier surface, and the area is known for strong birding during spring and fall migrations.
