About This Trail
This 6.4-mile trail skirts the western edge of Gordons Pond, a 900-acre saltwater lagoon in Cape Henlopen State Park, offering sweeping views of the Delaware Bay, Atlantic Ocean, and surrounding dune habitat. The paved path with 55 feet of elevation gain draws birders and cyclists alike, passing through maritime forest and salt marsh teeming with shorebirds and migratory species.
