About This Trail
An easy 2.2-mile loop through the 100-acre Great Meadow Wetland near Acadia’s Sieur de Monts visitor area, weaving through streams, ponds, and stands of birch and hemlock. The trail is excellent for birdwatching in spring and summer, with level boardwalk sections and views toward Champlain Mountain and Dorr Mountain from the open meadow.
